Thank the Lord for seeing me through these 2 weeks at my new job. It has definitely not been easy..running after naughty and spoilt children…hehe. however, the Lord has given me strength for His grace is sufficient for me. Thank the Lord too for bringing my cousin to my church last week and today, He is bringing another friend of mine to my church. Indeed, all that’s happened is by the hand of the Lord. Man are weak and feeble sinful creatures but God is every powerful, holy, all-wise and all-knowing.

Over the past few weeks, God has been very gracious to me. There have been so many prayers answered by Him! First of all, there was the application for a new job at the kindergarten. I had to wait two days for the answer from the other party and Lo and behold! the Lord answered my prayers, He gave me the job! It made me realize once again how feeble and doubting I am ….how sinful and lack of faith…through the waiting process I found myself panicking and feeling anxious…so little faith in my Heavenly Father who provideth all things. Then again, the Lord has shown me how I must abide in Him.

I also thought in my heart for another place to go for a mission trip this year. I didn’t tell the Lord..but He knowest our hearts and know what we are going to say even before we say it out loud. He led my previous church mate to call me to invite me to a mission trip to Thailand. Thank the Lord. He is truly an all-sufficient and all-knowing God! I had also been praying for an area of ministry in which I could serve in my new church. The Lord once again led an auntie-in- Christ to ask if I could help assist in the Children’s Sunday School. The Lord Answers Prayer!

Chinese New Year has always been the same for me…i guess all of us. This year is quite different though…a bit more relaxed than usual. In the past, I never enjoyed this occasion…never liked meeting my cousins or relatives. But thankfully I ‘ve changed now.Guess it’s to make up for the past years=)

As a Christian, Chinese New Year has also taken on a whole new meaning. It is a time when I could tell the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to my unsaved relatives. There is a guilt because I had not been interested in telling my relatives about the Gospel before. However, as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have a duty to do so; we have to " preach the gospel to every creature". Tell others about the saving grace and love of the Lord Jesus Christ..our colleagues,friends, our unsaved parents,siblings, relatives.

This is the best time to do so. Because it is one of the only few occasions that people come together…we never know when we might see them again..there would be regrets if we do not tell that someone about the Lord Jesus.

I’ve not been penning down my thoughts for a long time and decided that if I do not start, my mind might just go rusty…and that’s not really good isn’t it?=) How fast..time just speeds off like that…it’s already Chinese New Year! I am very grateful for the Lord Jesus, for all He’s done for me. Once again, for those who are reading this and do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as you Saviour, I pray that you might know Him one day. Why? Because He loves you and He died on the cross for your sins.
